January 2015 Meeting

Happy New Year to you all! 2015 promises to be a bright year for the Joomla! Community and our local User Group. We want to do big things this year and we want all of you to be a part of it.

The beginning of the year is a great time for house cleaning, upgrading and website maintenance. This year it's even more important as Joomla! 2.5 officially reached it's end of life on new years eve and is no longer supported. We'll talk about what that means and discuss upgrade tools, techniques and options. If you have questions or experiences that you would like to share we would love to hear them.

One goal for 2015 is to hold the very first Joomla! Day Denver. The planning has begun and we are aiming for a single day event in the fall. Once the date and venue are confirmed, more details regarding the event will be released, along with information about how to voluneer and contribute.
